Hanging Plants & Macrame Holders

Hanging plants and macrame holders bring greenery into a home office without taking up a single centimetre of desk space. A trailing plant by the window softens hard lines and gives you something living to look at between tasks.Trailing varieties such as pothos, string of hearts and spider plants are popular because they cope well indoors and look lovely spilling over the edge of a pot. Macrame hangers add relaxed, handmade texture; check the length, as longer hangers suit high ceilings while shorter ones keep the plant within reach for watering. Use a ceiling hook fixed into a joist, or a sturdy wall bracket, and choose a pot with a saucer or inner liner so drips don’t land on your paperwork. Real plants need light, so hang them near a window, and save faux trailing plants for darker corners.Find more greenery in home office plants & biophilic elements, or read our artificial plants guide.
