Floor Plants & Planters

Floor plants and planters bring life to a home office corner that a desk plant can’t reach. A tall plant softens hard lines of shelving and screens, and adding greenery to a workspace simply makes it a nicer place to spend the day.Height is what makes a floor plant work, so look for something around 90cm to 150cm to fill an empty corner or frame a window. If your office gets little daylight, sturdy plants such as snake plants and ZZ plants are more forgiving, or an artificial plant gives the same look without watering. Planters should suit the pot inside: choose one with drainage or use a plastic inner pot to protect your floor. Ceramic, woven and metal planters on legs all lift a plant visually, and a planter with a saucer is wise on carpet.Read our artificial plants guide or browse more home office plants.
