Webcam Covers & Privacy Screens

Webcam covers and privacy screens add peace of mind to a home office. Working from home means your laptop camera and screen are often on show to family, housemates or anyone passing the window, and these small accessories keep things private.Webcam covers are thin sliding shutters that stick over the camera on a laptop, tablet or monitor. Choose the slimmest you can find for a laptop, as a thick cover can stop the lid closing properly or press against the screen. Privacy screens narrow the viewing angle so the display looks dark to anyone sitting beside you. They’re sized by diagonal screen size and aspect ratio, so measure carefully, then choose between magnetic, adhesive tab or hanging styles. Many also cut glare from nearby windows, which is useful if your desk faces the light. Keep a microfibre cloth handy to wipe the filter clean.Browse more home office technology accessories, or see our home office ideas.
