Letter Holders

Letter holders stop post piling up on the hall table and make sure bills and school letters don’t get lost under takeaway menus. In the hallway that covers two jobs: catching mail as it lands and sorting it once it’s picked up.A letterbox cage or catcher fixes to the inside of the door and keeps post off the floor, which is especially handy if you have a dog that likes chewing envelopes. Check your letterbox size and make sure the door still opens fully past any skirting or radiator. For sorting, wall-mounted racks with two to five tiers keep paperwork upright and off surfaces, and you could give each person in the house their own slot. Wooden or metal styles look smarter on show; clear acrylic organisers suit a hall console or desk.Find more ideas in our hallway storage and organisation.
