Kitchen Essentials

Kitchen essentials are the everyday tools you reach for before you’ve even put the oven on. This section gathers the basics that make prep and breakfast easier, from good chopping boards to a few small appliances that earn their place on the worktop.Chopping boards make up most of the range, in bamboo, wood fibre composite and plastic. Bamboo sets of three give you different sizes for bread, veg and meat, while the larger boards with juice grooves are handy for carving. Composite and plastic boards can usually go in the dishwasher, which bamboo can’t. On the appliance side, there’s a matching kettle, toaster and canister set for a coordinated look, and a cordless electric tin opener that’s useful if manual openers are a struggle. Check worktop space and socket positions before adding anything new.Take a look at our chopping boards or the small kitchen appliances.
