Ceiling Fans with Lights

Ceiling fans with lights give a living room two things from one fitting: a gentle breeze on warm evenings and proper overhead light all year. They’re a tidy alternative to a standing fan that takes up floor space in summer and gets stored away for the rest of the year. Most of the models we’ve chosen are compact, low-profile designs, from around 30cm up to 42 inches across, which suits typical UK ceiling heights. Many come with a remote, several fan speeds, a timer and dimmable LED light that switches between warm and cool white. Check the overall drop against your ceiling height, and measure the room so the fan isn’t oversized. A few screw into a standard E27 lamp holder, but most are hard-wired and should be fitted by a qualified electrician.Find more options in our living room lighting range, or read our living room lighting ideas.
